"The children couldn't get enough of these songs... and the play and the backing music were all just fantastic! Very easy to learn. Highly recommended."
‘Will Santa Get Shot Down’ for ages 7-11, comes with a wonderful, editable script with plenty of speaking parts. Many of the accompanying songs use genuine 40s style music, and with added extras like sound effects, PowerPoints and detailed staging advice, you have everything you need for a perfect Christmas show.
IMPORTANT: Please note that this Christmas musical has nothing to do with the story of Santa, and there are definitely NO guns, or shooting of any kind! The title ‘Will Santa Get Shot Down’ is taken from a line in the script where the main character is worried about how Santa will still deliver presents while an air-raid is ongoing!

Very flexible. Minimum 6 children. Maximum 60, but with plenty of scope to add dozens of optional extra parts, so that well over 100 children could potentially have roles of one form or another. Detailed advice for various ways to add all these extra roles, are included as part of the purchased publication.
If you stick exactly to the script, then this performance should take around 40 -50 minutes, depending on the length of any gaps left between songs / scenes during the performance. If this is too long or too short for you, suggestions are included as part of the material you receive, which can help shorten or lengthen the production by 10-15 minutes either way.
We believe that this musical needs a minimum of 10 days rehearsal time. Please note, this is not a guarantee. Please listen to the songs and view the material before deciding how much rehearsal time your cast will require.
This musical is not religious. Two songs briefly mention the biblical nativity story, but these songs could easily be missed out if absolutely required.
AMAZING
"AMAZING! I must admit that at first I was dubious about the thought of a Christmas musical set during World War 2, I thought it might be a bit depressing... but I couldn't have been more wrong!!! It was so uplifting and the children learnt so much from it. Thank you so much for a truly excellent children's musical."

I usually record all the music for our Christmas concerts, but the CD was of such good quality that I was able to use it straight away, saving me days and days of work! The comments that we have received from parents and Grandparents have been amazing, it's the best concert they have ever seen, according to some! Many Thanks, E Austin - KS2 Teacher"
