We believe that we have the lowest prices in the UK for the particular goods and services that we provide. Should you find another company offering comparable products for less, please let us know – We refuse to be beaten on price or value for money. Our prices are low because we provide our full range of musicals and song collections on ‘Enhanced CD’s’ meaning we can give you much more than any other company - but at a lower price. We were the first 'Music For Schools' company in the UK to provide musicals etc.. in this way. While a few other companies have started to copy us now, we still believe that we offer far more than anyone else. 3B) What is an 'Enhanced CD'? An 'Enhanced CD' is basically both a normal AUDIO CD & a CD ROM rolled into one. Therefore, if you put any of our CDs in any normal CD player / stereo system, you can hear all the fantastic songs sung by age appropriate children plus all the fantastic professionally recorded backing music, made using a wide variety of instrument sounds and musical styles. THEN TAKE THE SAME CD and place it in any computer to access an easy to use CD ROM portion which contains printable sheet music, OHP masters and song sheets. Musicals also contain script, production notes & PowerPoint scenery. Assembly CDs also contain stories, prayers, ideas & PowerPoint presentations. SO YOU GET EVERYTHING YOU NEED ALL ON ONE AMAZING CD! Publishing this way is also very environmentally friendly – this is because with ‘Enhanced CD’s’ you are able to print off exactly what you need and you don't pay for things that you don't need. Therefore, we save an enormous amount of paper and we save on printing costs and we can pass those savings on to you! 3C) Do you sell sheet music? As has just been explained in the previous question, sheet music with guitar chords along with everything else you could possibly need, are all contained within the CD ROM portion of your CD for you to print off and use if you want. We do not sell separate sheet music. However, in the unlikely event that you are unable to access the CD ROM portion of your CD, we will provide you with paper copies of whatever you need for a small additional charge. Please contact us for details. 3D) Do you sell books with your CDs? No. We don't sell any books at all. This is because everything you could possibly need is contained within the CD ROM portion of your CD. However, in the unlikely event that you are unable to access the CD ROM portion of your CD, we will provide you with paper copies of whatever you need for a small additional charge. Please contact us for details. 3E) What do you mean by "Age Appropriate Children" - What difference does it make? All our CDs feature songs sung by age appropriate children. This simply means that if for instance, one of our CDs is intended to be used by children between the ages of 5-7, then we will only use 5-7 year old children on the recordings. We do this for two reasons: 1) As an extra guarantee to you so you know that the songs won't be too hard or in the wrong key. How many times have you heard school music CDs sung by adults or professional choirs of older children? Often these CDs are sung in keys/tempos that suit the older children/adults - but won't suit your pupils! We only use real school children of the correct age to sing on our CDs. Therefore, the vocals aren't always perfect but that's how real kids are! 2) We've found that in some cases, it actually seems to help younger children to learn the songs more quickly - as they listen to someone the same age of them singing the songs to them. 3F) We don't have a pianist? Do your CDs contain the backing music for us to sing along to? Yes. All our products contain the songs sung by children and all the backing tracks for your children to sing along to. 3G) Do we need a performance licence? You will normally require a public performance licence if you are performing four songs or more, from any of our musicals except "The ABC Nativity", "The Fairytale Land Nativity Show", "The Little Black Cloud" & "O Come All Ye Faithful". The particular licence that you require can only be purchased from our company. However we do award free licences in some circumstances. We also believe that we have one of the lowest prices for licence fees in the UK, starting at just £8. For more details on our performance licences, please Click here >> NB/ You do not need a performance licence for any of our song collection or assembly CDs, however if your school is registered with CCL (Christian Copyright Licensing) then please do include any of our songs that you've used in your annual report to them. 3H) What if the product isn't suitable? We cannot accept returned products due to copyright law. You are advised to check the suitability before purchase: Song samples from every track can be heard on each product page and script samples are available upon request by emailing us at info@learn2soar.co.uk 3I) Do you send out products 'on approval' or do 'inspection copies'? We do not distribute goods on approval. HOWEVER... SONG SAMPLES: You can listen to samples from every song on each product's webpage. However in the unlikely situation that you experience dififculty please email us at info@learn2soar.co.uk and we'll help you in any way we can. 3K) Can we copy the CD? All our products are protected by copyright. We allow the purchasing establishment/individual to make one copy of the CD only purely for back up purposes. Customers are strictly not allowed to make multiple copies of CDs even for rehearsal purposes. Such actions will be treated as 'acts of piracy' and legal action will be taken. However, multiple copies of any of our products can be purchased from Learn2soar Limited at the following discounted rates: Additional "Back Up" CDs (i.e. A duplicate of what you already have) = £5 per CD (+£1.99 P&P) 'No Frills' Rehearsal CDs (i.e. Just the audio tracks for children to learn from) = £2.50 per CD (Minimum order of 4. If ordering a large quantity further discounts are available. P&P extra depending on quantity of CDs purchased. Please contact us for details). 3L) "Part of our performance is being broadcast on local radio / TV - do we need permission?" None of our songs / musicals (or any part of any of our songs / musicals - however small) may be broadcast in an way without our express permission. Therefore for a broadcast to go ahead, the performing school / establishment only needs to make sure that they have a standard performance licence (issued by Learn2soar Limited), however the broadcaster needs to obtain special permission from Learn2soar Limited (which may or may not be given depending on the nature of the broadcast). If permission is granted then the broadcaster will have to pay some royalties to Learn2soar Limited which may be negotiated. 4) QUESTIONS FREQUENTLY ASKED AFTER ORDERING 4A) I ordered a week ago, but my product hasn't arrived yet. When can I expect it? We always aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving them (except at weekends/public holidays). All UK orders should usually reach customers within around 3 working days. If it has been 10 days since you placed your order and you still haven't received it, please contact us immediately and we'll attempt to rectify the situation as a matter of urgency. Overseas [non uk] customers usually receive orders in around 5 working days at the most, but it may take a few weeks depending where in the world your package is heading. 4B) I've just received my order. You've sent the CD but no sheet music, script, song sheets etc....Where are they? As has been explained above, sheet music with guitar chords, scripts, song sheets, etc, along with everything else you could possibly need, are all contained within the CD ROM portion of your CD from where you can easily access them with any computer and print off whatever you need. We do not sell separate books containing sheet music, scripts, etc... However, in the unlikely event that you are unable to access the CD ROM portion of your CD, we will gladly provide you with paper copies of whatever you need for a small additional charge. 4C) I've put my CD into the computer and I can see the script etc... But I can't hear any music? Take the CD out of the computer and put it into any audio CD player / stereo system! If you really want to listen to the CD on the computer, then firstly cross off the CD Rom welcome screen, then open your computers music playing program (e.g. Windows Media Player) and play the music from there. 4D) I've just put my CD into my computer but nothing's happening - what am I doing wrong? On the rare occasion that this happens, we recommend the following course of action. 1) As we're sure you're well aware, not all computers work very well all the time! Therefore, if possible firstly try the CD in a completely different computer. Nine times out of ten this solves the problem straight away! Alternatively you might like to try restarting your computer as this sometimes does the trick too. 2) If you are still having problems, go into "My Computer" and look for your CD/DVD ROM Drive. Right-click on it and select "explore". You should then be able to view and access all the folders/files on the CD. In the very unlikely situation that you still have problems, please contact us and we'll try to help you as quickly as we can. 4E) I think I may have a faulty CD? / My CDs jumping and it isn't working properly! A description of this type of problem indicates a dirty CD not a faulty CD! We are very proud of the fact that so far in our five years of business, despite selling thousands of CDs, we have never yet had one that could truly be described as faulty. Any time that a customer has described a problem of 'a jumping CD' a simple bit of cleaning has always done the trick. You can get cheap CD cleaning equipment from most high street stores (which is always a good investment for any school/church) but failing that a simple damp clean cloth usually does the trick! However, in the very unlikely event that you still believe you have a faulty CD, first of all we recommend that you try the CD in a different CD player / stereo system / computer. Failing that, then please do contact us and we will of course help you out in the best way we can.
All our CDs come to you as "Enhanced CDs."
