“I wanted to tell you that the children really enjoyed using these songs and the parents thought it was a great performance.”
A superb, harvest thanksgiving resource for preschool! Seven simple, catchy songs that the children will love to sing along to, plus backing music tracks (no need for a pianist). In addition, you get THREE editable scripts, PowerPoints and more. The three ready-to-use scripts are all included in your purchase:
(1) The ‘Full Performance’ script, which is a narrated rhyming script with enough lines to read out even for the largest of classes. In this performance there are different subjects for each of the seven letters that spell harvest. H is for harvest, A is for autumn, R is for roots, etc…
(2) The ‘Simple Performance’ script, which is a shortened / simplified version of the above full script.
(3) The ‘Story Version’ is a story version of the above scripts, which has been designed to be read out by one adult. It contains all the best bits of the above assembly, with an additional story titled ‘The Sunflower Competition’.

Most of the songs have no obvious religious references, apart from songs 5 and 7. Similarly, most of the included assembly script has no obvious religious references, though a few sections do mention ‘giving thanks to God for the harvest’. However, you can easily use the included editable script to remove these references if necessary. Therefore, we believe that there is something here to suit everyone.
Very flexible. As many or as few as you want.
If you’re reading the script yourself, then preparation time will be no more than a few hours. If you are using either of the children’s performance scripts, with the children speaking lines themselves, then we believe it’s possible to prepare a simple performance in just a day or two. Please note this is not a guarantee. Please listen to the songs and view the material before deciding how much rehearsal time your cast will require.
If you’re reading the assembly out yourself, then the story assembly version will take virtually no preparation time. If you are using the children’s assembly script, then we believe it’s possible to teach a simple version of this assembly to a group of children in just a few hours. Please note this is not a guarantee. Please listen to the songs and view the material before deciding how much rehearsal time your pupils will require.
Thanks
